Yoti as a verification app helps people to prove who they are. You can see it as having your ID on your phone, therefore being a digital ID. LinkedIn as we all know being a professional network tool, can also be used to verify who you say you are.
We always strongly recommend either Yoti or LinkedIn to be used to verify identities as this massively increases your chances to avoid hiring a risky candidate.
